January  24 - 29, 2016 Inclusive  Register Online Now

K9 Advanced Tactics School is designed to serve those canine teams  who have previously completed the patrol portion of the International  police k9 conference, or those experienced teams who are looking to further challenge the limits of their canine training experience.  This  training will be intense with long hours each day and is not intended for new dog teams. Jimmy Davenport Shield Drill

The focus of the school is to address both the tactics of  officer safety for the canine team, as well as preparing canine teams to work with their own agencies tactical (SWAT/ERT) units. It will enhance your ability to properly respond in street combat situations both with  and without your dog depending on circumstances.

The goal of the K9 Advanced Tactics School is to provide a challenging and realistic canine training experience that will change  the way officers think about canine deployments and identify more  opportunities for the safe and effective deployment of police service  dogs in high risk situations.

This week of training is limited to 24 dog teams.
